About Tula
How Tula came to be
A very warm welcome.
My name is Jessie, and I am the being behind Tula.
My mission with Tula is to support and guide you to your own innate knowing of what your body and mind require to function at their optimum state, using the guiding principles of Ayurveda.
Ayurveda has helped me tremendously know and accept myself for who I am in this life. Before I found Ayurveda, I was rather imbalanced, to say the least. I was scatty, unfocused, anxious and found it very hard to stay committed to any one thing.
Once I learnt about the doshas and my Prakruti (unique contistution) I was suddenly gifted with solutions. I learnt that the symptoms I was experiencing were not innate aspects of my personality but a result of my lifestyle.
By changing my diet, daily habits, and attitude in a way that was right for me, now I feel balanced and healthy, my energy levels have increased, and I have a new-found enthusiasm for life again. Not bad eh?!

I have been applying Ayurvedic wisdom to my own life for the past seven years. I know all the trials and tribulations of changing unhealthy habits and implementing new ones – at times with much success, and at others, not so much!
I don’t believe it is about being perfect – just a soft dedication to improving a little each day, and holding compassion and forgiveness if we fall back into old patterns and behaviours.
The journey is long, there is no rush. I truly believe steps both forward and backward are part of the path and all culminate in lessons to learn more about our selves in this lifetime.
